Refund Policy

At Heyworth Property Management, we pride ourselves on delivering professional and reliable lettings & property management services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be granted.

1. No Refunds for Completed Services

We do not offer refunds for services that have already been provided or completed. This includes—but is not limited to:

  • Property inspections

  • Tenant referencing or vetting

  • Maintenance coordination

  • Rent collection or arrears handling

  • Legal documentation or notice preparation

  • Marketing or advertising of rental properties

  • Site note compilation, lodgment fees and associated costs relating to domestic energy performance certificates

  • Any fees incurred by third party contractors expressly instructed to carry out works by Us on behalf of You, where we have had those express instructions in writing (be that via email, text, instant messaging service or similar)

If we have done the work, we reserve the right to charge in full for the service, regardless of outcome.

2. When Refunds May Be Issued

Refunds will only be considered in the following circumstances:

  • If we have failed to deliver a paid service due to an error on our part

  • If you have been charged in error

  • If a service was not provided and you have cancelled in line with agreed terms

In such cases, please contact us within 14 days of the issue to request a refund review. We will investigate the matter promptly and, if appropriate, issue a full or partial refund.

3. Cancellation of Ongoing Services

If you cancel a service that has already commenced, you will be charged for any work completed up to the date of cancellation. No refund will be given for work already carried out.

We aim to handle all refund enquiries fairly and transparently. While our policy is clear, we will always consider individual circumstances and aim to resolve any disputes professionally.
